Miss No Good

Miss No Good is a drama that I really like becuz it was really funny. There will always be a scene in the episode that makes you laugh but also some scenes that will make you cry. This is about a bubbly girl named Jiang Xiao Hua with zero sense of style. (As you can see in the picture above she wears bright colored clothes and decorates her motorcycle in a frilly sense of style) When her childhood friend, Jiang Si Le returns wanting to date her, she asks (blackmail) a famous, but poison-tounged stylist, Tang Men to turn her into a real lady. Back then Jiang Si Le was a fat boy so kids teased him. Jiang Xiao Hua sticks up for him instead so they became friends. ( She calls him Fat though.) He left Taiwan and later returned years later with a big party inviting her. She was surprised to see him good looking and rich so that's why she accepted dating him. Tang Men calls Jiang Xiao Hua christmas tree becuz of how she dresses and I particularly think its really funny! It might seem really long, but its worth it staying up late to finish the episode each and every time! There's only 14 episodes so its kind of short.

Oberweis

Oberweis is probably my favorite ice cream store. When I walk into the store, I could really smell the richness of the ingredients that they use. It smells delicious! They also have a lot of items on the menu. Not only do they have the classic ice cream with sugar cones, waffle cones, waffle bowls, or those kid cones, they also have an assortment of different things. For an example, they have lots of different kinds of their very own signature sundaes. They also have yummy shakes and malts; the flavors ranging from your classic vanilla, chocolate, or strawberry to your favorite ice cream flavors that they sell there. Another thing on the menus are their frostbites and floats with Coca-Cola or Root beer flavors. Other interesting items they have on the menu are their fruit smoothies and their coffees and hot chocolate. This includes espressos, lattes, and iced or frozen coffee. What I especially like about this place is that they're really kid friendly and offer kid sized everything; from the ice cream and cones, the sundaes, the frostbites, the soft-serve shakes, and even the hot chocolate! They also have this thing where you're able to get sprinkles on your ice cream for free. Besides the fresh walk in stuff they sell, they also sell hand packed ice cream in the store, chocolate cake, truffles, milk, butter, cheese, sherberts, caramel jars, hot chocolate jars, and lots of other stuff. The drinks that they sell there tastes really good too. for an example, they have their lemon ice tea, lemonade, fruit punch and all sorts of other yummy stuff. Holiday flavors are also delicious. They sell excellent eggnog in Christmas season, and blueberry pie in the summer, and other seasonal flavors too. If you haven't been to this place before, try it out! They are great for family outings, and for the summer heat, although I'm currently trying not to eat it since all of that adds a some weight on me!

Where She Went

This is a sequel to the book If I Stay, but I read this one first. This is about a girl who's been in an accident and when she got better, she left her boyfriend's life, with no reason to it. Now, three years passed and the boy is a top rock musician with his band, while the girl's a classical prodigy, performing at famous places herself. Reading on, we find that the boy's not doing so well on the inside, trying to make reasons up as to why she left him without saying anything. On that day, while he was walking around, he sees some sort of flyer that said that Mia was performing in a nearby place. He goes and watches her. She finds out that he was there and so the two went off to mend their relationship. It's told in the boy's point of view, Adam, while the first book was told in the girl's point of view, Mia. This book was just so heart breaking, it made me cry so much, but this book was amazing, well written and I just love it! I definitely have to read the first book, but I'm afraid of crying even more. I don't mean to sound so sappy, but this book's about finding what you've left behind, and SPOILER ALERT to those that are wary of the ending, it's a happy one!

Special Cupcakes

These cupcakes recipe are from Kitchen Princess! They actually work and taste delicious. Don't leave them out for too long though because they turn rubbery-ish and hard to eat.
Ingredients:
  • 1 egg
  • 2/3 cup of milk
  • 3 tbs of sugar
  • 1 1/2 cup pancake mix
Directions:

  1. Add everything in a bowl except pancake mix and stir.
  2. Then mix in the pancake mix. You can also add sprinkles, chocolate chips, or even chocolate powder to make the cupcake more unique.
  3. Pour the mix in paper cups half way or else it will spill out once it rises.
  4. Put them in the micro wave for 30 sec.- 1minute. It depends on which microwave
  5. Its done when a clean toothpick comes out when you poke it in the cake. You can top it off with whip cream or something. Enjoy!

Kitchen Princess

Kitchen Princess is a shojo manga with 10 volumes by Miyuki Kobayashi. The story is nice though it's a bit of a melodrama kind of thing.A girl named Najika Kazami, who's really nice  transferred schools in order to find a flan prince of hers when she was younger. She called him Flan Prince because he rescued her from falling into a river and he also gave her flan with a spoon, that had his school sign. This leads her to the special school where she starts working at a restaurant, making new friends, while malicious people try to stop and make her unhappy. SPOILER ALERT! She does prove them wrong!

Boys Over Flowers

This drama was just...THE BEST!!!!!!!!! But I just don't know why. It has 25 episodes. This is a korean  adaptation based on the manga Hana Yori Dango. It's about a literally poor girl named Geum Jan Di who was able to attend  a luxurious high school called Shin Hwa High because she saved a student. That student was about to commit suicide and she stopped him, so to get news to quiet down as to why the boy was trying to commit suicide, they offer her a scholarship. She soon makes a friend there at the school but while they were messing around, the girl's ice cream dropped onto the Flower Boy's leader, Gu Jun Pyo (it's spelled lots of different ways). With the 3 other members in the group behind him, he demands the girl to lick the ice cream off of his expensive, made only for him Italian leather shoes. The girl was about to do it, but then Jan Di jumps in and says it's her fault and she'll do it. When she kneels down, instead of licking it, she takes the cone and smashes it into his face and tells him that her family is a good dry cleaning place. She sticks an order form to his face and leaves. Because his big ego couldn't accept the fact that she did that to him and humiliated him in front of his friends, he decides to target her next with the red card. Time out. Let me explain this card. Whenever someone displeases him or angers him, he gives this red card. If you get that card, the minute you open your locker, other kids will see that card and immediately, everyone will shun you and bully you; even if you used to be so popular. This is because F4, is pretty much the leader of the school. They are the richest, the hottest, and watch over everyone like it's their kingdom. It's technically true though since Jun Pyo's mom is one of the most powerful contributors of the school ore something. Don't worry though, they soon find out that Jan Di has lots of determination and won't get struck down even though they bully her in the meanest and cruelest way. But that was also the start of friendship, and love. I know that sounds corny but what can I say? Its true. This drama made me laugh, cry, and feel all sorts of emotions. It was just like a roller coaster ride with all of that drama going on. Trust me, you have to try this drama. You'll love it and hate it. You might not know what I mean right now, but you will after watching it!

You're Beautiful

So the first drama I've ever watched was You're Beautiful. There were 16 episodes. The drama is awesome as in the plot, romance, music, cast, everything!!!! It's basically about this girl, that's going to be a nun meets her twin brother's manager, asking her to pretend to be her brother since he's about to get a really good deal, but the brother's in America, treating his messed up eye. All she has to do is sign the contract. When she gets there, she meets the band that her brother will be with and the lead singer isn't happy that the girl (being her brother) is joining. He complains that his songs require the voices to hit his high notes. The band makes her sing, and when they heard her voice, they accepted her immediately; begrudging, but they admitted her voice was good enough. Somehow, she gets pulled into the whole thing and has to live with the band, and all these things. The drama overall is really cute! It's also funny, and dramatic. I mean, what do you expect out of a drama, right? It also forms a love tangle where all of the band members (3 guys) like her while she doesn't realize any of this. I definitely suggest this drama to anybody that hasn't watched it yet!
